The Ratbirds are absolutely slaughtering the J E T S.
Sanchez has that deer in the headlights look while Flacco has all day to throw. |

Yep, this is pretty much what I expected out of Mark Sanchez when he played a team with actual talent. The New York media has been crowning him their savior all week, which is pretty funny considering they were playing the Rams.
Wow, Flacco looks good. Then again, it's the Jets, so I'll temper that somewhat. But it looks like the Ravens games are going to be must-see TV for years to come -- Joe vs. Ben! |

Maybe this game will shut Rex up for a while.
Nope - Sanchez just threw a TD. Jaws will have another QB to slobber over now. |

This was a good test for Sanchez...he's a good QB, has all the tools, but it's been too easy for him up until now.
He's not going to crack under a little pressure, and he'll learn from this game. Congrats, by the way, to the Rats...a very impressive PRESEASON victory...which means nothing.

Sanchez came back to throw a TD pass. He looked good for the most part and I think he's going to be a good QB in the league.
The Ravens defense looked good. Flacco looked really good (but not Big Ben good). Should be fun watching Harrison and Woodley fluster him again this season!

I think Sanchez might be a pretty good quarterback, but he most certainly didn't impress last night.
After essentially throwing two interceptions for touchdowns, the Jets didn't hand him the ball at all and let Leon Washington march down the field by himself. I'll give him credit to Sanchez on the TD pass as he really threaded the needle on that one, but Ray, Ed, and half the starters were already on the sideline. Leon Washington is very good, though. |

Impressive performance by the rats against an untested rookie and a team that is in a serious rebuilding mode...if they could only play the Jets every game this year, they'd go 16-0.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work that way...some good teams await, and a few teams that are better than the Rats are in that mix (like the team they REFUSED to play in the home opener). THOSE teams are licking their chops waiting to play the ratbirds...

Sanchez played like most people thought he would. He made mistakes when they brought the heat but, he did make a few good passes as well. Make no mistake about it the rats have a good defense but, i thnk they way to beat them is take what they give you. Plus don't turn the ball over easy for us to say that. Jury is still out on Sanchez time will tell but, he will struggle this year.
