The NFL said the referee made a mistake: Troy Polamalu caught the ball.

The league acknowledged Monday that referee Pete Morelli erred when he overturned on replay Polamalu's interception of a Peyton Manning pass Sunday in the playoff game between Pittsburgh and Indianapolis.

You can't really say what would've happened after the INT. Who knows, maybe Parker fumbles, and Indy runs it back for a TD. However it is a good job, to admit your mistakes, like Periera did today.

I still call FOUL!!

How easy is it for the NFL to come out and say the official made a mistake after the Steelers won the game anyway.

Had the Steelers lost the game something tells me the NFL would have backed up Pete Morelli 100% in order to cover their ass.

That whole crew needs to be replaced!!!

Get rid of that crew so they cannot try and pull off what they almost did.
How would you feel if perhaps this crew with Pete Morelli were to pull a questionable call like that against the Pats next season that keeps New England from making or advancing in the playoffs.
You might want to know why something wasn't done to prevent him from officiating the game.
