The NFL said the referee made a mistake

I think I saw Tom Brady on a Golf Course today.

I think the NFL should do more of this. If the head of the officiating determines that an official made a bad call, say it. Admitting one's mistakes should not be this rare. Call it a correction box for the league, if you will.

Oh well, at least it only had an impact on the score, not the final outcome.

Considering it is winter in Boston, I highly doubt that.

Anyways, there were atleast 2 or 3 times this season, where the head of officials apologized to the Riders, for bad calls. It's part of the game, no one is perfect.

Yeah, if that call would have caused Indy to win, that would have been the biggetst bullshit to hit the pike.
Another bad call was that mystery pass interference call on Asanti Samuel. Even though I can't stand the Pats, that was a ****ed up call too.

The NFL admitted the INT call was wrong (duh!) only because blowing the call did not change anything beyond the final score. If the Colts would have won there would have been no admission they blew the call.

The zebras had a horrible weekend - I bet we hear a renewed call for full time officials.
The Pats-Broncos/Steelers-Colts/& Bears-Panthers games all had horrible calls.

Sorry, Porter's anger is understandable, but you can't say that there is some kind of conspiracy at work against your team. (Jeff Van Gundy?) Does the NFL want INdy in the Superbowl? Maybe, Peyton is the postboy of the league and after Dungy's son, they are the sentimental favorite. But if you actually think there is some kind instructions given to the Refs - "make sure Indy wins," then I would bet you're a Oliver Stone fan as well. Remember, Steelers are a more popular team that Colts nationwide, maybe more so though anybody. For the NFL, Steelers aren't the worst team to have in the Bowl, and they know that. Porter will get fined, he would have just been better off for calling the ruling for what it was - bullshit. I was surprised the league owned up to the mistake and wonder what is going to happen to the REF?

before the int it was 21-10 and willie wouldn't have been running the ball at that point of the game. so even if you theory happens it's 21-16/18 who's to say they would've made the two point conversion, the clock would've been running down and the steelers would've re got the ball and sealed the deal
