With Hines aging, Ben really needs Sweed to take that next step to continue to be successful. That or the Steelers can shell some cash out for a bigtime WR here in a year or two but we know that isn't going to happen.
I just don't want to see any of this guys years wasted because with the style he plays, you just can't be sure how many years that will be. |

Logan gives us the best field position available on that receiving down. I don't see how he doesn't make the team.

As the real season approaches, reality sets in, and the dream of a guy like Redman becoming the starting RB and other silly observations go by the wayside...BUT we have seen some young/new guys make the best of their opportunity.
I'm not sure about Summers or Redman, but I KNOW Mendenhall is a legit 1st rd RB and deserves to share carries. I don't know who the 4 and 5 WR will be, but Sweed has definitely stepped up. I'm not sure how the OL shakes out after injuries, but Legursky and Foster have looked good, and I suspect the final product we put on the field this year will be a vast upgrade over last. We should be really, really good this year, like maybe 14 wins good...

IDK, is Baker eligible for the PS again? If he is the Steelers don't like to give up on their projects,s so that would seem a possibility. Although, I would like to keep Nance on the PS, but he also might be ineligible. Oops, I quoted the wrong thing. Oh well ya know what I meant,.

He is from Poland. They play soccer over there like we used to play baseball.

They know the expectation on Sweed, and it's nice to see the crowd go wild when he catches a ball and Hines motivate him like he does, I think he'll be a star. He isn't like Plax, he isn't some superstar, he was humbled his first year and I think that'll shape him into much more of a man than Plax ever was. |

Redman is looking like Frank Pollard right now. Batch is looking good against the Bills scrubs.
