Default Cowher vs Tomlin

Who do you got as the better coach? I'll still take Cowher.

Why stay on a forum if you dont want to discuss things. How about you start a thread. I'll bet I say "who cares" to that.

It is a boring, stupid, stale, utterly uninteresting subject.
It's 2009! Wake up and smell the coffee.

cowher micronamaged too much and it bit him in the ass for years.

tomlin kept and unleashed dick lebeau and he had 2 of his finest seasons as an assistant coach and the steelers defense has been on top of the league.

best overall defense in 10 years easilly. going back to the 80's only the 91eagles, 85 bears, 86giants, 00 ravens are in their league.

While I'll always be grateful for what Cowher did for the Steelers, I'll take Mike Tomlin anyday. I just love his whole philosophy on the game.

Ask me in 11 years. Cowher still built this team. I love Tomlin to death, but let's see what the team he forms over the years looks like.

Very true... Tomlin could have very easily come in and changed everything to his liking.

Though I was a "Cowher kind of gal", I absolutely adore Mike Tomlin and the philosophies and discipline he's brought to this team. In fairness, however, I can't honestly answer that question at this point in the Tomlinator's young career as a HC. I'll get back to ya in a couple more years down the road.
