Maybe not a popular opinion here, but if I have to think Cowher is playing his best horses right NOW. And if these young guys can't take Townsend's spot, then I would have to assume it's b/c they aren't good enough.

No way we're going DB in the first round, CB or Safety.. WR, DL, LB, maybe even a RB but no way the secondary at this point.

i would take a rb if i knew wat was goin on w/ bettis and duce and everything. There are no good tall wr out there this draft for a first rounder. DE is probably the strongest position imo, so i would take the best of the wats left because there is no huge hole in the team. A LB would be nice as well... that position is filled up w/ great ones 2

Definatly not a CB in the first round... In the later rounds sure. But in the first round I'd rather see us take a defensive end. We also need a center though. And a receiver. It depends on what big time receivers are left by the 32nd pick, if theres nothing that great, I'd take a DE.
