Steelers DVDs

I was thinking about getting The DVD America's Game and The Steelers Ultimate Collection I was just curious if anyone had purchased these and if they were worth picking up.

I bought the first five in a five-pack collection from Amazon.com
They are all entertaining and worth watching especially in the LONG months between Superbowl and training camp. I also like the way they look, I have them under my tv with some other Steeler gear. I will will be getting #6 soon.

i bought the 2008 complete games set, 4 dvds; it has SBxliii, both playoff games and the second regular season ravens game.

excellent.

it's great to see the whole game without commercials. i highly recommend.

I figured I would ask for some more advice and provide specific references to what I was talking to.

The two collections I wanted to pick up were the America's Game collection and the Steelers Ultimate Collection. Does anyone have these?

If anyone would like any other Steeler DVD recommendations I currently own:
Pittsburgh Steelers Complete History
Pittsburgh Steelers Super Bowls
Super Bowl XLIII: Pittsburgh Steelers Champions
Pittsburgh Steelers: Road to XLIII

The only issue I had with teh America's Game DVD's is that they are full frame and not widescreen. They were filmed in High Def. No widescreen DVD's or Blu Ray???????!!!???

If you're interested in the America's Game collection, you may want to wait until November 3rd, when they will have a new package including the new America's Game 2008. Amazon has it for pre-order for $27.99.

Although like Hammer said I'd like to see these in HD or Widescreen. Looking at the scan of the back of the box, it looks like these are in standard, which would particularly be disappointing for the newest one, since that was definitely shot in HD. I'm holding out hope that a Blu-Ray version is released.

Yup...every America's game was shot High Def. They are all widescreen on NFL Network.

No idea why the NFL hates widescreen for home video. I think the Steelers SB XLIII video was the first one I got from them done in widescreen.
