Not enough to pick us to win any game in the postseason ahead of time. during the season you never saw crap about a Steeler player or coach on a talk show, espn special, radio interview..now they're everywhere crawling out of the woodwork to get the black n gold on the air and out in the public eye.

I heard El on espn radio this morning on mike and mike.

So let em keep not picking us to win this game, I'd rather have it that way... this way saying I told ya so is that much sweeter.

Steelers have been in the media a lot this week. Yesterday Bill Cowher was on NFL Total Access. Randle El on Mike and Mike today. Cowher to be on there tomorrow. Joey Porter on Best Damn Sports Show Period. Chris Gardocki was on Totally Football. Ben was on ESPN Sportscenter. It's all good I suppose. Nice to see them and get more Steelers fix before Sunday.

where are all the denver players during all of this? i have seen the media saturated with steelers players and stories all week like they already like its media week leading up to the superbowl. its obvioust they are the media darlings and the steelers are looking awefully happy like they have accomplished something.

are the denver players feeling disrespected? slighted? ignored? i really dont like what is going on but even cowher is playing along. has shanahan and their players just denied media requests? it could be a smart ploy on his part to let the steelers heads swell while the broncos intercept the "no respect" ball that gets passed around during the playoffs.

this is really giving me an uneasy feeling. theyve spent half of this week talking about last weeks game.

I share that same observation with you tony and I don't like the vibe I'm getting going into the weekend.

joey porter said this week that they play their best when they are mad and pissed off. what the hell are they mad about this week? how are they gonna play when they are all farts and giggles? they may be underdogs on paper today but they are definitely the fan favorite to win it all and media favorites to cover and write stories about. maybe they will catch wind that gerard warren called them the "so called toughest team in the league"

honestly i dont think they need any extra motivation to win but when players like porter and foote come out and say they play better when theyre pissed and its personal, i get a little worried when theyre all smiles. maybe theyre just playing it close to the vest. after all like joey said he was shot in the ass in denver

but you know shanahan is telling his team to watch all the steelers in the media, how smug they are and happy to defeat the colts and reminding his players that the steelers havent done crap yet. he will be telling his players that the steelers and media are overlooking the broncos. what has worked so well to motivate and fire up the steelers will be the same kool-aide the broncos are drinking.

Everyone needs to relax...there are only four teams left playing so of course they are all getting increased media coverage. I have seem Jake Delhomme ten times in the past hour on the NFL Network...and the Broncos are getting coverage. The biggest "feel good" story is Bettis, though and the Networks are jumping on that since the Manning-Brady duel shit the bed.
