I think he was referring to Mr. Legursky at a slight 315 lbs.

Ok... Yeah, you got me there... Though I doubt that is a 16 wheeler... more like an 18wheeler with a second trailer attached!!!

Well, I guess it is just my perception that we have seemed to have gone away from the I-formation a significant amount over the past at least two seasons. In my opinion, I have seen quite a few looks with the RB in the backfield by himself.... way more than with the I-formation.

But I guess I must have been seeing it and imagining it...

We've ran the I-formation and offset I a lot more then we did last year. Maybe Arians is reading this board after all :). I love the I-formation (probably to a fault) but this is Ben's team now and Big Ben one more option to throw to when we stay out of the I-formation.

You have me interested now... do you have the previous game on tape? I have this game. I would be interested in counting up the times we line up in I form or offset I.

See how reality lines up with our perceptions (chances are, we are both wrong )

Agreed, I liked seeing that alot. Think he did pretty well.

You're probably right but what I've DEFINITELY seen this season over last season is: The Steelers are using the I-Formation far more often when the down and distances SCREAM for it. For instance, 3rd down and 1, we're seeing the I-Formation this season when last season we probably would have seen a 4 WR package with the end result being either a sack or incomplete pass. The use of the I-Formation speaks volumes when you consider that Arians playbook used to contain like what, 1 or 2 I-Formation plays that were RARELY used? Many members of this site have called for the use of the I-Formation for as long as I've been a member here. It looks as if Tomlin had the same thought.

Bring in Foster as a TE and Legursky as the FB on goal line and short yards I think it would be pretty damn beast.

Just like the Fridge. You know why we don't do the I formation when Willie is in there? Because he won't follow the fullback through the hole. He dances around and goes the wrong way. Mendy was doing it correctly. Willie is toast on this team if Mendy keeps playing this way.
