Dont know if anyone was watching but the new league that started tonight had several former Steelers. Jeremy Parquet and Jason Capizi play for the Las Vegas Locomotions and Shane Boyd plays for the California Redwoods. All 3 started and Capizi and PArquet almost got JP Losman killed a couple pf times as they start at Left and Right tackles but Shane Boyd looks okay?!?! It looks more legit than the USFL or XFL but we'll see.

Not sure why this is in the Steelers forum....
But I will say this... the NFL DOES need a good development league. A strong minor league system would be very good. Let some players come out of college, and go play in the minors for a couple of years. Develop a farm system on top of the practice squad. Give the teams a chance to hide a few players. That would be nice. |

3 former Steelers were starting last night./ Boyd Capizza and Parquet. It was a decent game.
