Default Why today's whiney conservatives sound just like yesterday's whiney liberals.

Do i really need to say why?? It's really obvious. The one thing they both do best is whine and cry when the other party holds the power. Remember 9/11 when liberals blamed Bush since he was in office even though Clinton policies helped lead to 9/11? Then they called parts of his post 9/11 policy as fascist even as they signed on to much of those policies.

Fast forward to 2009 and well before September conservatives were already whining and moaning about the economy and blaming Barack Hoo Sane Obama even though they once supported Bush policy that helped lead to this current mess. They call Obama's stimulus socialist even though they signed onto the lite version of it that Bush proposed and passed last year.

Eerily similar if I must say so myself

That was a ridiculous overgeneralization containing no specifics and intended only to stir the pot.

It makes you look like a pie hole trying to pick a fight.

Seriously, are you not going to elaborate on this?

The main problem I have is with the overt and obvious lying to get elected. Obama's campaign promises have all been exposed as empty rhetoric, which is fairly par for the course, the main difference being he hoodwinked everyone into believing that HE was the real and true "agent of change".

He's pretty much been status quo so far....sorry if some think it's whiny to point out glaring over-the-top hypocrisy.

Hey, hey, hey! What's "empty" about "change"?

I know. I'm not jaded, but I do get pissed at all of the constant bickering that goes on. Many times it makes me look like an ass, but many times I really am an ass so it is what it is, as they say. And I'm not denying that I was trying to stir the pot, but sometimes that's exactly what gets people thinking in ways other than their normal party lines and mentalities. Sure it was overgeneralized, but from the outside looking in, that's exactly how it looks.

I can get really specific if you want some sort of dissertation, but you and I both know what's going on right now. It what always goes on. Aside from the real issues that conservatives disagree with, they also pile onto every insignificant happening as if it's some epic failure of the democratic party. It's just like how Bush was treated by liberals. They weren't happy just arguing the issues. They had to whine every time Bush went to Crawford on vacation, as though he couldn't carry out his duties from there, or as if he had his priorities wrong. Same thing happened when Obama went to try to get the Olympics.

I'd love if everyone just talked about the real issues but it seems like everything ends ups turning into bickering about some of the most insignificant things. People do it b/c they think that constantly criticizing the opposition about anything and everything, lends their own position credibility. It doesn't. There comes a point where to people like myself, on the outside of the dual party mentality, it just sounds like a bunch of whining and takes away credibility from their position IMO b/c people stop listening. It's like crying wolf.
