That may actually be the first ever power ranking that I've ever seen that I can say "Yes, that makes sense...that's just about right".
-It gives credit to the undefeated teams, but doesn't lose it's mind over it. -It doesn't have NE #1 -Teams have to work towards #1 over weeks instead of just "being there" or jumping up based on nothing. It's probably still flawed because I don't think things would shake out this way in a tournament, but it's better than nothing for people who enjoy this type of speculation...

8th might be about right ... but I don't really put too much stock in these things as our boys just have to show who is better next Sunday ... and that's who is better: Steelers or Vikes.
This ranking has the Falcons at #7 with a description of: Flacco and the Falcons just took out one of the top teams in the NFC, in a blowout victory. If they can't get the QBs straight, who the heck are they to say our Steelers aren't #1? Besides, last I checked we are the reigning Super Bowl Champs ... we're the champs until someone else becomes the champs!

Who cares? This aint college. If it wasnt for 2 missed field goals and a dropped pass by Sweed we'd be 6-0 right now, and probably ranked #1. None of it matters though anyway. Let the 'experts' have fun with their little power rankings. I know like you all know that we can ball with ANYONE.

I do not give a ratz azz about power rankings. I do not care about how hot a team starts. I like for my team to build momentum as the season ends and sweep through the playoffs. I will say though that its nice to see the Ravens and Jets have fallen some after being slopped on by the media early on.
