Kansas City tailgating

New to the forum and new to Kansas City--wondering if any tailgating will be going on at the KC game??? I'm always looking to meet other Steelers fans, and I also don't want to be totally lost and alone at the KC game :)

I'm sure you will see quite a few Stweeler fans out there tailgating. They say KC is one of the best places to tailgate in the NFL. Just pick out your BBQ.

Thanks for letting me know! I see a fair amount of Steelers bumper stickers and flags around the neighborhood, but I haven't quite met or connected with anyone yet :)

So... just kinda find a parking spot near other black and gold cars and kind of go from there?

I'll be there! Closer to the game I think there will be more information about organizing tailgates there so keep checking back...

The Kc Steelers fan club have a bunch of stuff planned there is posts on here about it already .............. I will be there

We are driving up from Fayetteville, AR on Saturday and plan to tailgate with tow other families from NW Arkansas that are doing the same thing. We have a Red parking pass. I hope to hear the Chiefs complain about how many Terrible Towels are being waved. I have my late 1970's vintage towel that I will be waving! This will be my first regular season game. I went to at least one preseason game at RFK Stadium in the late 80's. My 16 yo son will be attending the first of what we hope will be an annual trip to see the Steelers.

My wife (Steel Duck) and I will be therel! We have a red parking pass as well. Does any one know what time the gates open? We where planing on getting there just after 9am. I was going to look for some black and gold flags (or towels) and park! I'm guessing this crowd is going to be 40% terrible towel wavers!

I will be there with my 40 ft rv. Leavin pittsburgh tuesday, head back to chicago, new groceries, fresh clothes, and heading out friday. RV lot is the gravel lot on west side of stadium, lots open 3hours early. Brown and white rv flying six time superbowl flag above it. Feel free to stop buy, black and gold attire a must.

Coming to KC from central PA with a friend that is a chiefs/steelers fan. I told him i would take him to see arrowhead and show him a good time. Let's show this kid how the steeler fans tailgate so he can forget about the chiefs. We'll be out there saturday and then the game of course on sunday.
