Mendy Running Out of Bounds with 4 minutes left
Just wondering if anyone else noticed this/what happened.
I can't remember the exact time, but I believe there was around 4-4.5 minutes left in the game and Mendy broke that big run off the left side of the line. The Bronco had an angle on him to the sideline and Mendy ran out of bounds about 2 yards before the defender got to him. He clearly was out of bounds and the clock kept running.
In fact, you can even hear a fan in the stands say something about it quietly over the broadcast.
So, two parter I guess:
a) What the heck was Mendy doing when we were trying to close out a game? Nice run, yes...but needs to have his head in the game during that part.
b) The clock never stopped. Am I missing something? Or did the clock guy just mess up and no one threw a fit b/c the game was out of hand at that point?
