Saw Colt McCoy after the game. Wow, I really like that kid. Wish the season could've ended a little differently for him, like, hoisting the Championship trophy. Oh well.

texas is clearly the best team in the country, alabama didn't deserve that at all they almost to a team without their best player starting a true freshman qb who had 26 attempts all season in mop up duty its just unfortunate that the best team in the entire country was denied a shot at the national title because of injury and almost won anyway.

It might have been a different game if McCoy played yes, but looking at the ENTIRE season, the best team in the country won, imo. |

Colt leaving the game after 5 plays had little to do with Texas losing that game. Aside from the pick six Gilbert threw when he first came in the game, he played pretty damn good, bringing them back. Bama won because Texas couldn't stop their running game and when they had to make a play on D, they made it.

Colt McCoy gave up 205 rushing yards?
McCoy caused Texas to commit 8 penalties for 77 yards. Texas is a damned good football team, and it was sad to see McCoy knocked out of the game, but they played 13 other teams in 2009 who did NOT knock him out of the game. Injuries are part of football, and it was ALABAMA that knocked Texas' starting QB out of the game.
