"The fact is that the Steelers have underachieved in two of the three seasons that Tomlin has been around."
In comparison to the 29 other teams that didn't win a superbowl in those three years?

That article is worse than our DB play.

Although I have to admit, to have recently concussed Ben Roethlisberger stick his head in the pile on four-and-short in the first period was a close second on the dumb list.
I didn't like the call on this one either. Not because we didn't get the first down, but it's just not the play you call when your quarterback might still have some bees buzzin around in his head.

That was the dumbest call I've seen in a long time.

LOL... the only way Tomlin gets fired is if your owner's name is Al Davis.

I do also wonder how we'd be with a guy like Shanahan at the helm. I'm not trying to advocate for firing Tomlin... I have said things like that before in moments of rage, but I've calmed down a bit... but Shanahan knew how to handle gunslingers like Elway. He had similar success with Cutler... unfortunately, Denver's defense fell apart, which led to his firing. Still, I wonder what he could cook up with Big Ben.

On the other hand though, I still don't think the offense is the problem. It could use some improvement (a bit too many 3 and outs for my taste) but they're still capable of impressive drives. The defense is what's killing us, so I don't know if a guy like Shanahan would help in the long run.
Eh I wouldn't want Shanahan, he mostly focused on Offense too much and our D would suffer. I'm happy with Tomlin. Sure he makes mistakes but he's human.

Being without Dick LeBeau is just.......a scary thought.
