I don’t even know where to start with Saturday night’s game. Amazing. Brilliant. Unbelievable. Pick one. I was on the edge of my seat the entire game. I was beyond excited to see that defensemen Alex Goligoski and Kristopher Letang as well as center Tyler Kennedy have returned to the lineup. Having those three back seems to have made a world of a difference. There are still two more players out, winger Chris Kunitz and defenseman Jay McKee but it is rumored they will be back within the first full week of December.

I was slightly worried when the game started knowing that the guys had played last night and lost to the Islanders. After watching and reading I found out that the Rangers also played last night. Knowing that lifted my spirits a bit. Perhaps they would be tired as well. I watched in disbelief as Penguin defenseman Mark Eaton received a 2 minute holding penalty only 37 seconds into the opening period. I personally thought it was a bull call considering he was hi-sticked in the face. Apparently the referees did not catch that. The Rangers started the game off at 8:50 when defenseman, and Pittsburgh Penguin center Jordan Staal’s brother, Marc Staal backhanded the puck in past Penguin goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury assisted by ....
