Default Coming to the Steel City

Hey guys-

Packer fan here again. I hopped on here about two months ago when we started looking at buying Packer/Steeler tix. Well we bought our tix and we are leaving to come to town on Thursday! So excited to see Heinz and what your great team/fans have to offer. Heinz is the #1 stadium I have always wanted to see, can't wait to see the terrible towels.

So my seats are in section 127, anyone here sat in that section before or have any insight? I think they should be pretty decent, but every stadium is different.

Also, looking for some pointers as to where to go while in town. We are for sure going to DeLuca's for Breakfast and to Primanti Bro's probably like 10 times!!! (Yes, we watched the Man Vs Food episode.....) But does anyone have any other ideas on where we should go or what we should do? We are staying at the Renaissance Hotel which isn't very far away from Heinz, it is downtown.

Any pointers are greatly appreciated!

BTW, I truly to respect your tradition, team, and fanhood. The steelers have one of the best fan bases in the NFL, joining my Green Bay Packers of course!

Let me know thoughts, it should be fun!

There is an incline ride across from Heinz field it will take you to the top of the hill where you can look over the city. I would highly recommend it. I am sure there are some others on here that can probably help you more but maybe this will help.

So you just park your vehicle there and they bring you up by train, or what?

Parking is available at the Lower Station of The Duquesne Incline, just off of West Carson Street, directly across the street from the Incline Station; the parking lot is located between West Carson Street and the Ohio River. Watch for the signs, on West Carson Street, which direct you to the parking lot.

After parking your vehicle, use the pedestrian bridge, which crosses West Carson Street, to reach the Incline Station(boarding platforms are located on second floor of Station building).

Dude, you've got to make a stop in at Bettis' Grille at least once. And get the 36oz steak (but I wouldn't recommend eating it all at once). It was the best piece of steak I've EVER eaten - EVER!!!!!

Depending on where you go for the nightlife, it's can be an awesome event.

There is the strip district with the floating barge with several different themed areas. But it's cold this time of year and they put up a temporary covering on it so it's not as big as during the summer.

There are a few other areas but in get in good with the locals, don't mention the recent Steelers problems, or that you're a packers fan and you should be fine

Steelers fans are not like NYers. The only way you would be ridden out of town is if your name was Maddox or Arians or Ligashesky.
