With win over the Flyers, the Pens take the lead in the Eastern Conference Atlantic D

When the Penguins face the Philadelphia Flyers it always promises to be physical and exciting. Not a single injury reported prior to the beginning of the game. Even though that did not last throughout the entire game. During the 3rd period center Jordan Staal and winger Billy Guerin were both injured. There was no update on them last time I checked the website. Penguins captain Sidney Crosby now has 49 points in 28 games against the Flyers. With this win, the Pens have a 12-5-1-0 record on home ice while the Flyers have a 6-9-0-0 record on the road. The Pens have won 7 of their last 10 while the flyers have only won 1 in their last 10. The Penguins and the Flyers are cross state rivals who always have heated battles when they clash on the ice. Tuesday night was no exception. The brutality of the goon, err, Flyers did not sway the Pens one bit. They went on to not only have 3 fights during the opening period but completely annihilated the Flyers 6-1....
