It's official! Groundhog day to kick off superbowl weekend!
 The biggest Groundhog/Steeler party of the year starts at 3:00AM Thursday 2/2/06. Last year about 30,000 people were here and it was great. Add the Steelers and look out! For more info go to www.groundhog.org Ten years ago prior to Superbowl XXX it was wild. By the way Phil is predicting a big Steeler win and as you know he is never wrong! Hope you can make it.

I've been to Punxsy to see Phil a bunch of times. That was back in the good 'ol days, though, when they allowed you to drink and party...(lol). It was cold as hell, but we had such good times waiting for that groundhog. Ah, the good 'ol days.
I love Altoona Curve minor league baseball, SteelCity. I'm at the Blair County Ballpark all the time at games in the Summer, and at Lakemont Park right next door for their wingoffs and fireworks on the 4th of July, although I went to Penn State University this past summer on the 4th for their huge fireworks display. Go Curve! |
