I've doe that in my younger day way back when but I had scuba gear on and wet suit 3/8 inch closed cell neopreme with hood and boots on. Stayed down from one year to the next, did it on New years eve for three years with dive buddies. We would take a bottle of brandy down with us to toast the new years. Don't tell anyone we were al dive instructors, "Don't do as we do, do as we say to do" That was the deep freaks motto.
