Box Score
- 07 - 03 - 00 - 00- 10

- 00 - 07 - 00 - 07- 14

PITTSBURGH, PA

It was over when...
Trailing by 4 with 1:21 left on Baltimores' 17 yard line Dennis Dixon was sacked on 4th and 1. Pittsburgh later got the ball back but Ed Reed picked off Ben Roethlisberger on a attempted Hail Mary with 34 seconds left.

Game Ball
Chris Chambers caught 7 balls for 114 yards.

Quick Take

For the second consecutive week in a row the Steelers gave up a 100 yard rusher.

Jahvid Best ran for 104 yards on 17 carries which included a 49 yard run. This is the first game all season where the Steelers had not gained more than 200 yards.

But thats what happens when the number one ranked defense face off against the number 2 ranked defence. A defensive slugfest.

Joe Flacco threw 3 interceptions but they still managed to come out as winners. Probably the most defensive hard hitting battle all season.

With this loss the Pittsburgh Steelers fall to 8-3 and the Ravens rise to 8-3, not only that but the Titans, Colts, Bills and Chargers are all 8-3. The Steelers have dug themselves in a whole and will need to win out if they want a chance to skip the wildcards.

Box Score
- 00 - 07 - 07 - 17- 31

- 07 - 07 - 00 - 00- 14

PITTSBURGH, PA

It was over when...
With Pittsburgh ahead 17-14 with 1:49 left in the 4th quarter the St Louis Rams failed to get 4th and 9 and gave Pittsburgh back the ball to pad their stats.

Game Ball
The NFL's best defensive player Troy Polamalu recorded 9 tackles and 5 sacks... Ben Roethlisberger threw for over 300 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Quick Take

Scores can be decieving this certainly was as Pittsburgh struggled and the offensive line gave up 8 sacks, but the defense came through only allowing 100 yards and sacked the quarterback 11 times.

The Steelers did so bad the St Louis Rams went into halftime with the lead, but Pittsburgh got their act together and after some good half time adjustments they shut out the Rams.

Not much to write about this one with it bein a blowout in the last 2 minutes. Ben Roethlisberger was voted AFC Player of the Week.

Seattle Seahawks (7-5) at Pittsburgh Steelers (9-3)

Pittsburgh win Super Bowl XL Rematch

Troy Polamalu was a key in Pittsburghs success having 10 tackles 1 sack, 1 forced fumble and an interception negated due to a defensive offside call

Game Photos

Box Score
- 00 - 00 - 00 - 07- 07

- 03 - 06 - 00 - 08- 17

PITTSBURGH, PA

It was over when...
With 7 minutes reamining Ben Roethlisberger threw a touchdown to Tracy Manningham to put them up 17-0.

Game Ball
Troy Polamalu was all over the field gaining 10 tackles a sack a forced fumble and a interception that was later called back. He's making a strong case for Defensive Back of the Year.

Quick Take

Pittsburgh put the icing on the cake Monday Night in retaining their #1 place in the AFC North after the Baltimore Ravens forced their way to 10-3 after dominating the Colts away 31-16 continuing their win streak to 8 straight games.

The Steelers forced 4 turnovers, 3 of them interceptions and 1 of them off fumbles as the Steelers under Mike Tomlin improve to 7-0 on ESPN Monday Night Football. Quite a streak under the 5th Year Coach Mike Tomlin.

The Steelers almost forced a shutout but could not quite be done as again as most times this year it was a defensive struggle. The Steelers have not posted a 300 yard game for 3 straight games now But still rank inside the top 15 Offense.

The Steelers have faced 24 Quarterbacks in 14 games, heres a fun fact they have allowed a leagues best 62.5 in Quarterback Rating.

Cincinnati Bengals (6-7) at Pittsburgh Steelers (10-3)

Pittsburgh crush feeble Bengals

Ben Roethlisberger threw for over 500 yards and 7 touchdowns, one of them shown here caught by #17 Mike Wallace

Game Photos

Box Score
- 03 - 14 - 07 - 14- 38

- 20 - 21 - 14 - 16- 71

PITTSBURGH, PA

It was over when...
With 7 minutes reamining in the second quarter Ryan Clark returned an interception 44 yards to put the Steelers up 20-3

Game Ball
Ben Roethlisberger threw over 40 times and completing near 80% of his passes and 500 yards and 7 touchdowns.

Quick Take

It's nearing Christmas so Carson Palmer thought he would gift wrap interceptions to the Steelers secondary and occasionally linebackers.

Cincinnait who? What a putrid performence. It's astonishing that someone can actually still score in todays league as the Steelers put up a gob smacking 71 points.

Okay the Bengals were sh!t but are they really that bad just a few weeks ago Ben Roethlisberger had nearly almost as many picks as touchdowns, but now he has 24 touchdowns and 9 interceptions going into the final two games.

It all started off with the Bengals Ocho Cinco taking it to the Steelers 1 yard line before William Gay forced the fumble the next play the Steelers threw a 98 yard screen pass to Santonio Holmes for the touchdown. The Rest is history.

The Steelers with a win next week can clinch a playoff seed.

Santonio Holmes season is over. He tore his shoulder and will be out for 8 weeks.

PITTSBURGH, PA

It was over when...
With just 1 min left Rashard Mendenhall fumbled the ball away and Rodney Pool recovered it and took it back for a touchdown.

Game Ball
Rashard Mendenhall carried the ball 36 times for 136 yards.

Quick Take

The Steelers had a chance to clinch the AFC North with a win over the Browns but failed in doing so with an offensive faliure as they didn't score a touchdown against the #32 ranked defense of the Browns.

Next Week they face the Arizona Cardinals in the first rematch of Super Bowl XLIII.

When Brady Quinn starts, he is 4-0 against the Steelers.
