Default WR Danario Alexander Missouri

I know that we don't need a WR because we already have 3 outstanding WR in Ward, Holmes, and Wallace....but if one goes down....Do we have a guy that will step up???....I don't think Limas Sweed is going to live up to his potential with the Steelers....I'm already thinking he is a bust......If the Steelers do go after a WR I hope they take a shot at this guy....WR Danario Alexander 6'4"/6'5" 215lbs 46inch vertical jump 4.5 40 time(He plays way faster than what his 40 is projected!)....He is the same size as Limas but I think this guy has better playmaking ability and most importantly better hands.....He's projected to go in the 3rd round.....check out some of his highlights and let me know what you think....Is he worth a 3rd round selection??? In my opinion he would be a steal in the 3rd round......He had a very good bowl game....6 catches 137yds and 1TD....

Sweed has some impressive college video too. Sometimes the transition isn't so linear.

Thats true!! But Sweed in college also had problems w/ dropped passes!!!! I just don't think Sweed wants to be a great player....I mean a ROOKIE(Wallace) took him out this year...It was his job to loose and he lost it.....I think Wallace took his job because he had better hands and because of his electrifying speed!!!! Wallace is going to be a great receiver once Ward retires.....He reminds me of a faster santonio holmes!....

I think Wallace already is a good receiver even playing behind Ward and Holmes. His route running is looking good and he can hang on to the ball. Hopefully we will have years of watching him in Black and Gold.

I agree w/ you....Wallace is a GOOD reciever right now!!! Whats very interesting about it is that he was barely a ROOKIE...So the sky is the limit for him....What I'm trying to say is by the time Ward decides to hang up his cleats....Wallace would be a GREAT reciever already....If the Steelers manage to keep Holmes and Wallace for their entire careers they would probably end up having one of the best/most explosive WR tandems in the NFL for many years to come...Right now they already have one of the best WR tandems... w/ 2 superbowl MVP's in WARD and HOLMES!!!!.
