Default The main problem with our steelers.....

The main problem with this Pittsburgh team is our defense, a lot of people wanna bury Bruce Ariens, I mean yeah i know at times our offense couldn't score in the red zone plenty of times this season but that problem was simply because of our lousy o-line, we couldn't run and teams knew that so they would play the passing defense tight on us in the red zone......To me i think that problem can be fix this off season easily, but our defense will have the same freaking problem next year and the year after that if we do not get better players in the secondary and I'm not talking about just rookies, we need veterans in free agency. In life you pay for what you get and if steelers are cheap again this off season we will have a cheap defense!!!!!!!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Players we should sign are:

Tramon Williams Green Bay Packers CB-Great in coverage

Nick Collins, Green Bay Packers FS-Great in coverage and outstanding tackler

Antoine Bethea, Indianapolis Colts FS--Great in coverage

O.J. Atogwe, St. Louis Rams FS-Great coverage, great tackler

Darren Sharper, New Orleans Saints FS-Outstanding in coverage

Dawan Landry, Baltimore Ravens FS-Great tackler

Aaron Kampman, Green Bay Packers-Top 10 3-4 DE in the nfl, veryyyy powerful

Richard Seymour, Oakland Raiders DE-??? he use to be top 5 DE in the nfl but i dont know what happened, maybe he might have something left in the tank if he comes to the steelers

he sure as hell isn't good in run support he got trucked the other night. No way Green Bay let him go with the age of Al Harris and Charles Woodson, they will keep him.

Nick Colllins, Darren Sharper, Landry, i'll never intive a Ratbird onto our team, do u want to spend half of our money on those players? You really think the Pack will let Collins go lol

Why would we want aaron kampman and pay him high at that age.

doesn't make sense with me, just a question on madden do u have the salary cap off? the players you want will ask alot of money.

i think that what he is saying is that we need to sign somone to bolser the secondary... We should be looking to sign the best corner or safety available, and use our first round pick to address the position as well, our secondary has been calling for help for years, TP makes everyone better, but we can't rely on troy because of health reasons...

Why not include Fabian Washington, Carlos Rogers, and Vince Wilfork in that list?

Yes, let's get five free safeties.

He went to the Raiders, duh. That'll make anyone look bad.

Yeah, I don't think he'll stick around in Oakland, that's for sure. Which is garbage, if only for the reason that it makes the results of their offseason dealings look like this:

Patriots get
DE Derrick Burgess
Top 10 draft pick

Raiders get
Nothing

I mean, what kind of shit-for-brains organization trades a first-round pick for a one-year rent-a-player when they're 5-11?

WE DON"T need OLB and Kampman was not very good at it , Seymour will be franchised by Oakland.
If we were to target anyone there I would think it would be Atogwe. He is a good player on a bad team. But he is a pro bowl talent and might want more money than we are willing to give.
