Default Saints vs. Bears

Not sure who's fault it is, but the entire Bears offense looked terrible. Cutler is just a part of the problem.

Watching this game made me realize how lucky we are to have Big Ben. The Bears haven't had a solid QB since... 1985? Cutler is an embarrassment.

Coach killer Jay Cutler will soon add Marc Trestman's scalp to that of Mike Shanahan and Lovie Smith for coaches he has helped get fired

Say what you will about Jay Cutler and the Bears O, because they are problematic, but since firing Lovie Smith the Bears D has been 30th or worse in the two major categories (Pts and Yds).

Their D SRS has been sub-zero, as well (Love and Jauron only had one sub-zero season each).

Their D hasn't been this bad since Dave Wannstedt was their coach. That's not even a joke.

By PFR's SRS scores, Trestman's Bears have had two of the franchise's three worst defenses EVER.

The Saints are playing their 10th string DBs now because of injuries. They picked off Cutler 3 times. It's mostly Jay's fault.

Bears are allowing/giving up 29.2 ppg. That's worst in the league.

Turnovers aren't helping in that department, but it's unlikely that shoring up TOs alone would shave 3-5 ppg off of that number.

Their defense stinks.

But Cutler always is at the center of drama that rips a team up

The Chicago Bears' disastrous season has devolved into a soap opera with quarterback Jay Cutler and offensive coordinator Aaron Kromer publicly clearing the air Friday in the wake of an NFL Network report outlining Kromer's disappointment with Cutler's erratic play.

Cutler seemed to let Kromer off the hook Friday, four days after the assistant apologized to the quarterback, apparently tearfully, in front of the team.
