We learned that one really early-on autocrossing (everyone gets to experience a stuck throttle at some point): Throw it in neutral. It may destroy the engine, but that can be replaced. And most new cars have rev limiters.

Yeah, what your supposed to do is put it in neutral and the rev limiter will catch it and you'll be safe... Damn "Toy"otas...
