Olsavsky rejoins Steelers as quality control coach (AP)
Former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Jerry Olsavsky is rejoining the team as a defensive quality control coach. Olsavsky succeeds Lou Spanos, who left the Steelers after 16 seasons to become the Washington Redskins' linebackers coach. Olsavsky was one of the nation's leading tacklers as a linebacker at Pitt before being drafted by the Steelers on the 10th round in 1989.
