PNC Bank Exchange Rates (a question best fielded by Pittsburgh residents)

Hey folks, gotta quick question I need an answer to.

Where do most banks pull their exchange rates from, PNC specifically? I know of XE.com, but, their rates are different than the ones banks give when a transaction takes place. I'm trying to prevent Amazon.com or PNC Bank from putting me over the barrel by letting them do the exchange.

I would call customer service if I was still in the US, but calling them costs about a dollar a minute.

Any help would be appreciated.
