Mike Tomlin Week 7 Post Game Conference

Mike Tomlin:Good Afternoon. What a great victory we had today, i was pleased with the guys, of course in some areas we need improving on but today was a success and as a result we got what we were looking for and it was a hard earned win. We go into the bye week at 5-2 something that does not surprise me although we lost 3 starters we overcame adversity and as a unit we battled it and defeated teams that imposed there best football on us. Questions will be great right now.

Question:How is Hines Ward after being taken off what looked like a shoulder injury?

Mike Tomlin:He suffered a dislocated shoulder, he would be fine next week if we had a game right now its a daily procedure with tests, he won't be on the injury list when we face Denver.

Question:You let Albert Young gain a 59 yard run in one play, how did that unfold for you on the sideline?

Mike Tomlin:We were unprepared and as a result we payed the price and condeded 7 points. Not good enough against the run today.

Question:How significant was Stefan Logan's play today

Mike Tomlin:He had a big day on special teams both on punt and return duties i was pleased with his efforts.

Question:You shut them out in the fourth quarter, how big was that for momentum?

Mike Tomlin:We needed a good defence showing today and we got one. Something we did need and they delivered i was proud of them today.

Question:How good is the offense playing right now?

Mike Tomlin:They have been playing good so far it's not a suprise

Question:Will Ryan Clark play in Denver?

Mike Tomlin:Undecided right now, game time decision, based on the decision of his family.

Mike Tomlin:Thank you for the questions i must now go bask in glory under the sunshine of Florida.

Will Ryan Clark Play in Denver?

Will Ryan Clark play in Denver next Monday? All the buzz about is that he will not play and Tyrone Carter will replace him with Troy Polamalu coming back in action.
