Mike Tomlin Week 9 Post Game Conference

Mike Tomlin:Good Evening. I thought we played a flawless game tonight, especially on the run game Rashard nearly took 50 carries, with no fumbles and gaining 245 yards, i was pleased with that, he didn't brake any big ones but he consistently hit the hole for 5 or 7 yard gains throughout the game.

Question:Why did Rashard take most of the carries?

Mike Tomlin:He took most of them to pick up short third downs and keep the Broncos off the ball in which we did successfully which translated into a big win for us.

Question:Did your team suffer any game injuries?

Mike Tomlin:No we did not, the bye week came in handy for us to get Troy back.

Question:What made the team fight to hard for the win tonight?

Mike Tomlin:Passion.

Question:Talk about the third down conversions, not letting the Broncos get any?

Mike Tomlin:Our defence came through tonight and now were 6-2 were looking good right now for our second half of the season.

Mike Tomlin:Thanks for the Questions.

Mike Tomlin Week 11 Post Game Conference

Mike Tomlin:Good Afternoon, I'm gonna make this a quick one. We lost today becaus we fell short in all three phases of the football game. Simply not good enough. I do take blame with that.

Question:How is Ben Roethlisberger's injury, will he start next week against the Ravens?

Mike Tomlin:Ben suffered some back spasms and may sit next week, if so Dennis will start.

Question:Ben Roethlisberger got off to a great start throwing 16 touchdowns and only 5 interceptions before week 7. Now he has only thrown 18 touchdowns and 11 interceptions during weeks 8-11. What is going on?

Mike Tomlin:We don't know right now but we hope to.

Mike Tomlin:Thanks now i got to go.
