Comfort Food
We've covered "last meals" and chicken. What is your "comfort food" and why?
I'll open with pot roast. My Mom made the best ever with its own gravy. Potatoes, onions and carrots. One pot and outstanding. Why? Pot roast = Mom. We've done a bunch of pot roasts over the years, but have never topped Mom's. Its a damn mystery I tell you! Runner up - Lasagna. Garlic bread. Salad. The bomb. Spaghetti can be substituted. 2nd runner up - Meat loaf and mac & cheese. All for the same reasons.

When I think of comfort food, I think of the stuff I ate when I was home on a snow day (perhaps like tomorrow) or stuck inside due to the weather. The "meal" also encompasses the outfit so, Pajamas for me.
If I was to actually to have breakfast that day (and not necessarily at breakfast time), I'd have two eggs over easy with bacon and toast -or- two eggs over medium on an english muffin with pork roll and cheese (salt, pepper & ketchup).
