Prayer Request for my Father

I just found out that my dad has a tumor in one of his kidneys. It's treatable and to our knowledge the cancer is only in that one kidney, so hopefully we can just remove the bad kidney and take the cancer with it. That said, I've seen enough friends relatives go through (and eventually die from) cancer so I don't want to get too optimistic. If you could keep him in your thoughts and prayers I would greatly appreciate it.

You as well as your father is in my prayers. I am dealing with Cancer in my family as well and all I ask for is to be positive and strong for your father and let the man upstairs do the healing!

Kidney cancer (renal cell carcinoma) is very treatable and generally requires only removal of the kidney (nephrectomy)

I will most definitely keep your Dad, you and your family in my prayers.

Keep him positive, fighting and trusting in God's healing powers. From experience I can tell you that is 95% of the battle.

Please keep us posted on how he is doing.
