Steelers fan looking to show support for life needs opinions..

My friend just got this tattoo and he wants me to get the same thing, we have been watching Steelers games together since we were kids. But I don't know I am on the fence. Although I like the fact that is different and not the exact symbol, I am not sure if it is too different. I need some Steeler fans opnion, What do you guys think? What are the good and the bad about it? Also I am so glad I found this website you guys rock its hard to talk Black and Gold liven in Illinois with a bunch of Bear fans.

My opinion of tat's is based largely on the fact that my 85 year old grandfather has a whole bunch of them from 1942 when he proudly served in the Pacific. They now all look like blue and black bruises.

Same here. My pap served in Europe (The Bulge). But yet, I was dumb enough to still get a few....lol.

As for the original poster. I would get something different than my buddy. Get something you like, not what your friend likes. Put it this way, If your taking the time out to ask other people on here what they think, you should not get it done. Wait, find something you like and then get it done.

i totally agree with that too thats why i wanted to know what everyone thought of the tattoo cause if i got something different should i mean does it look bad cause the stars arent exact I know i wont get the same thing or something extreme but i want it to stand out too my brother has the symbol on his back with the super bowl numbers around it( about to add one more) so i dont want just the symbol either. Just want to show my love and give something back

in a month or two i'm gonna get the spurs logo on my arm, i'll probably get a steelers one on my shoulder blade where tim duncan has his. and then i'm gonna get a longhorn tattoo on my face like mike tyson lol

When I was 19 I sat in a tatoo parlor for 2 hour looking for the perfect tatoo, or that I could afford, then it dawned on me not tp buy something permanent, that you picked just because it was the one you could afford. Its with you forever, pick a good one!

Ive got my Steelers tattoo, on my right calf, done in Pittsburgh on the south side at www.tattooyouii.com ..wouldnt have it any other way.

i grew up with out a dad so i was a basketball fan first so i've actually been a spurs fan way longer then i actually liked football, and like i said awhile back i barely started following the steelers on the reg when i was in the 9th grade. but with that said i pretty much love them both the same, and on the spurs board i post on i post just as much crazy stuff as i do here on game days. damn it why you making me choose
