Default College Player Passes on the NFL

I don't know if you have seen this story or not but I thought it would be an interesting topic of discussion. Read the story http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/footbal...n=ncaaf,225516 I'm not so sure I would be able to pass on the chance. Isn't the league min. $400K a year that sure would be hard for the average person to pass on. It sure is one heck of a dilemma IMO.

I'm not so sure I blame the kid - already suffering from football-induced arthritis in his early 20s and projected as a low round draft pick? It'd be something else if he projected as a top-10 pick or even a first or second rounder, but he's not. Since he doesn't project to be drafted high, chances are he'd wash out anyway if his heart isn't completely in it.
