Good thing they didn't trade him for a 1st and 3rd when they had the chance, this is much better.

You mean that one "good" season was just an anomaly, and he really wasn't worth all that money.

One good season? More like 6 to 8 good games.

Remember, he didn't start the season that year. He comes on in the middle of the season and has a streak of good games prompting the press to label him the second coming of Joe Montana. Even when he started to regress back to who we knew he was all along the last few games of that season, he was still declared the savior who would lead Cleveland to the Super Bowl the following season.

Epic Fail

They also signed Seneca Wallace and he might be their starting QB this year.

Holmgren doesnt think Quinn is smart enough to run his offense - well, that's what Brownies fans are saying.

Yeah, you can't really justify paying a guy $10 million a year when he doesn't even start.

Well, we came close to doing that for Starks one year, but you are right of course. Anderson didn't even impress me that much when he had his good 1/2 season. The guys got nervous feet from the time he steps on the field.

please don't remind me.

Believe me, following the Cincy game in 07 many Browns fans got the hint and wanted his ass out of here.

DA is such a one hit wonder that he makes Tommy Maddox blush.

Much like how Maddox was labled the next Elway until he fell back down earth

...

though to be fair, you guys DID find a new Elway clone a few years later, who has been quite successful, sans certain allegations that have come out. Also, I thought you guys were a bit mean towards Kordell and Maddox IMO, sure they choked, but they had a couple of decent seasons.

It's good to see him go, frankly watching him piss away many games via stupidly thrown balls that resulted in turnovers

As for Quinn, who knows at this point? I think he could run the west cost offense (he ran it in college btw.), but he hasn't really shown anything yet, but to be fair, when you only really have one good reciever in MoMass, not anything at TE and no one blocking on the right side, you're going to have some problems.

I'm willing to give him next year to see how he does, if thing don't work out? Then we'll just draft Locker.
