watched the Ole Miss game on friday, now im definately pulling for us to draft Drew Pomeranz. 15 K in 8 innings against georgia, and that wasnt the first time he K'd 15, did it once earlier against Oakland. Big Power Lefty with a nasty curve, could probably already K people in the majors right now
I don't really care who the pitcher is,as long as he has the potential to be a big time ace. Like a Lincecum. Someone that strikes fear into the opposing hitters. No one is scared of Duke, Maholm, Ohlendorf. Lincoln isn't ace material either.

HR Andy LaRoche in the 9th!

Pirates lead 5-3 in the top of the 9th

followed by a triple by Ryan Church

Great win for the Bucs and some big plays including the much important Laroche homer in the 9th, Mahalom dive and throw and the 9th inning Jones catch! Good win Bucs back to .500 and giving the Giants their second loss!

its unfortunate that Lincoln isnt ace material no more, cause i really do believe that he was before he had tommy john. he was definately better than Greg Reynolds and Luke Hocheaver, the two pitchers taken in front of him.

i think he can still be a front of the rotation, it takes some people a little longer to contain their 'stuff', subtract the year from tommy john, and i think this is the year he puts it together

Good to see the Bucs won last night, too bad I don't get to see the games now.

Did I read this right? The Pirates gave up 2 runs in the 8th on 5 walks and not a single hit allowed? Way to go, Buccos. Nearly blew another game because the pitching sucks ass.

I actually want Jameson Taillon now......Assuming the Nats' take Harper.......Ranaudo has arm issues and thats all we need now is another bust.

Taillon looks like a legit ace in the making.

I'm pretty impressed with the Pirates play so far this season. I hope they can continue to be very productive in the way they are. Go Buccos!

Nice walkoff hit to win the game.

We got lucky with the bases loaded walk to tie it but kudos to our players for staying in the game til the end.

Go Buccos
