Hey I am looking for some Steelers fans in the D.C. area who would enjoy going out for drinks and watching games at a bar or maybe even hit up some games in person. I am in the army and have been in Iraq for the last 9 months and most of my friends have all moved off now. Maybe we can get a group of guys who just want to have fun and wach some games.

Hey dude. Army here too, I was stationed in DC and the Pour House in Capital Hill is your best bet. I heard there are new owners, and they removed some of the old Steelers stuff, but they still play the games.... I went there last year for the preseason game, and everyone met there first.. So. should be a good spot again this year.

If you're ever working at the Pentagon on a Sunday, you need to walk a few blocks to Tortoise & Hare in Crystal City. Awesome Steelers bar in DC area (well, Arlington, VA - a mile outside of DC).
I go there for a lot of games. They play Steelers fight songs, serve Iron City beer, and often have Pittsburgh-inspired grub. If you're going to check it out though - get there early! |
