where can i find about the steelers cap and how much they play each player? please can u send me a link.... thanks

Why is the cap so low?

I don't want them to be like tha titans in a couple years, releasing big time players

the cap increases several million each year to help compensate for the increase in payouts team must give to players. The Steelers have been working the cap the last few years the same way, and we've managed to keep the majority of the players we wanted too..and bring in some big names at the same time.

But we gotta be careful, walking that tightrope is dangerous..

I agree, I am afraid that we are mortgaging the future somewhat. I completely understand the philosphy, that we are good now, take advantage of it. But I would hat to see us fall to pieces half way through Bens career

the rooney's are definately dead set on this group of core guys we have being the group that can get us to our next championship. u dont see teams keeping near as many of their players these days.. so many times theyjust wanna start bringing in new players every year. credit the rooneys for their vision.. *keeping fingers crossed too*

Here is where I go to get an idea of what we pay. Sometimes not current, but is good because it is always linkable and available as other places take it away from time to time when updating.
