Default Picking up Jason Campbell

If we can pick up Jason Campbell for a "low" (ie rd 6 or rd 7) pick, I think that would be a good idea. His numbers look pretty decent and he's young enough to think he can still improve. Anyone follow the Skins closely and know why he's being unloaded? Is he prone to interceptions?

Here's the report from fanball:

According to the Washington Post, the "widespread belief" in Washington is that quarterback Jason Campbell will be traded during next week's draft for a "low" pick.

No, he's being unloaded because he's prone to sucking.

DO NOT WANT. If Ben goes elsewhere (long shot), I'd rather they take their chances with Dixon.

Not to replace ben but if we had to start the season without ben, campbell is not a bad idea the only problem is hes not a cheap backup so when the uncapped year ends it could cause some issues for us

I wouldn't trade a washing machine for Jason Campbell.

Yeah, I don't know...even if he was cheap I still don't think we would need him. I think Dixon would do just fine for a game or two if that's what it came down to.

Some folks here must be allergic to Dennis Dixon. WE DO NOT NEED him

I still remember all of the hype surrounding Campbell a couple of years ago. He had no interceptions in the season around the 7th week. He was supposed to be the second coming and the next Superman. Then Troy Polamalu picked one off and thus began his career slide.

Count me as one of them. I'd rather have Campbell or Leftwich.
