The way Sweed faked an injury to try and get sympathy after dropping that sure touchdown in the playoffs really ticked me off to a point where I will probably never like him even if he turns into a pro bowler.

I am a fan of Sweed (as long as he is a Steeler) and hope he does well. With Santonio gone maybe the dynamics in the locker room and between receivers has changed giving Sweed another chance to overcome his mental blocks. I say mental because...I just can't believe a guy who was a good receiver in college...all of a sudden acts like he's never caught a ball. It has to be mental and as such...maybe
"another chance" with an "alpha dog" in Holmes gone...Sweed will be productive.

Nothing better than forgive and forget. What was he, 22 at the time (I believe this was the playoff game his rookie year)? I've done a lot of stupid sh!t since I was 22 and you probably have too. Glad others have learned to get over my stupidity and given me opportunities to succeed as I grow.

So the kid dropped a couple passes and suffered some mental set backs because of it. Hell, this same problem sent Chuck Knoblauch (multiple Golden Glover winner) into early retirement. I'm behind the guy 100%. At 6' 5" and 230 lbs and consistently getting behind coverage ... I'm all for him succeeding as a Steeler. And we know he can block. Hell, this pic of him pumping iron ... that looks like 215 lbs on an incline... not something you see too many receivers doing.
