I think the Steelers could possibly trade up to the early part of the 2nd round, but I dont see them getting back in the 1st without maybe giving up too much even next season.
I heard the guys on Sirius Radio talking alot and saying they didnt think the Steelers would draft a DB or S in teh 1st round since they resigned Ryan Clark at FS and they drafted 2 DB's last year fairly early.

Agreed.

The fact that he plays G and C makes him more valuable than the other OL to the Steelers. He'll play G and eventually take over C.

To me, the suspension of #7 necessitates the need for OL even more.

some had d. thomas going to denver with pick 12. they get him at 22.

many have the patriots picking d. white. now they can get him 2 picks later.

I think NFL gm's are thinking more Eben Britton or Robert Gallery. He shouldnt get out of the 1st round though.

Using the plural --> Now, that's being generous! I agree though, I certainly liked this pick.

I dont believe that for a second. The guy looked great at the Senior Bowl and Combine and he will be a Man on a Mission wherever he gets drafted to prove people like you wrong.
