Default ..... talk/rumors of Cowher retiring?????

I'm a newb here..... and I'm NOT trying to stir-up rumors or gossip.....

..... but I've heard 2 local Pixburgh on-air personalities (neither of whom I'm very fond-of ), discussing the possibility of Bill Cowher retiring, in the last 3 hours:
is this just BS?

I've also heard the speculation and it's exactly that....speculation. It was discussed the other night on the Nightly Sports Show Down. Cowher gave absolutely no hint of retiring. It was brought up for the sake of conversation. Pure and simple.

Cowher will be our coach for at least another decade. Cowher got the monkey off his back, but I know in a month he is gonna want 2,3 and 4 rings. And I think with the way we have drafted in the 2000's and hopefully some good signings of our FA, we will contend for the Title for years...

I cannot think of a real believeable reason why he would do this.

Cowher is in Pittsburgh for a while longer yet.

Fedko during PXI's televised parade show, and during Madden's radio show, but I hate to 'advertise' for either of these characters.

Its all speculation.. Cowher isnt going anywhere.. He got his trophy, and gave it to the Rooneys.. but now that he has the monkey off his back.. he can just get back to coaching and have fun again.

His driving force was getting that elusive 5th trophy for Pittsburgh..so now he can concentrate on getting the next one w/ not so much pressure.

Cowher never said anything, so why else would it be brought up? It would be different If he hinted he was debating on retiring. It's pure speculation. Helps ratings. No offense, but your making this story way bigger than it should be. It's not even a "story" to be honest.

Personally, I'm still trying to figure out how Fedko and Alexander still have a job in this city.

seeing the look on Cowher's face today during the parade tells me there is absolutely no truth to this
