Martz to the Lions!

The Detroit Lions have announced the team has hired Mike Martz as their offensive coordinator. Martz will also coach the team's quarterbacks. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

They met last week, it was falsely reported that Martz accepted, the next day it was retracted, and now a week later reportedly the deal is back on...however, I believe it this time, because sources better than kffl (translation: ANY source other than kffl) have reported it.

It still won't help Harrington,he's a bust.

Are they in the Matt Leinart Lottery?If not,do they suck enough this year to take Brady Quinn with the first pick in the draft next year?

If the Lions actually get a good QB with Mike Martz they might be able to shoot for 8 wins!

yes, and not only that, but i thouht it was agaist te ruelks for him to retry. I could have sworn I heard somewhere he is inelligible to coach this year after excusing himself from the table.
