3 to be 4, I agree.

There is no sense in having Carr and Bush If you don't have protection. It's commonsense.

I'm not exactly sure what the Texans cap situation is, but are they able to throw some money around to try and strengthen that o-line?

Once again......After being sacked 208 times in four seasons (68 times this past season and 76 times in the 2002 season alone) I think I would have the "deer in headlights thing all season" and I also would have the tendancy of hitting the ground a little earlier than I probably should. The guy can only do so much with zero protection and the thought (and the high chance after looking at the numbers) of getting decapitated on every play.

I agree with this sentiment.

Its a natural human instinct to want to extend your life to its fullest - it seems that the Texans O-Line is borderline criminal in its negligence in doing the only job it is really expected to do - Carr has taken way too many hits in his young football life.

These guys should not be playing football at NFL standard.

Until Carr gets an O-line worthy of the name I don't see how you can judge his potential for success in the NFL.

The Patriots didn't bother with swagger to start this NFL season; they went straight to defiant. Either you're one of them or you're about to get crushed.

If I were Carr, I would have waited on signing, to see how the draft went, or to see if FA help at Oline was coming. Maybe he just stuck around to get Bushes autograph!

I see where you are coming from - but I dont think that would send the right signal to the troops.

Carr is a fighter - the management obviously like him - hope enough to invest a few FA dollars in adequate protection for him this year.

I think Bush could be the spark for this team - he looks like the kind of RB who will make some yardage off broken plays - something the Texans specialise in!

Alright, conspiracy theory here...

McNair and Casserly WERE interested in signing Vince Young until they saw his horrible performance in that College All-Star challenge. I just watched it this weekend, and VY's accuracy was AWFUL...IMO it was huge mistake for him to show up to this event.
