James Farrior returns at the other inside slot. The 35-year-old doesn’t quite get off blocks the way he used to, but his quickness

ERROR . . . . . DOES NOT COMPUTE . . . . . . ERROR

I personally thought the guys take was clueless in alot of ways. First, El has not lost any quickess. Apparently this guy has not watched a Redskin game lately. Washington's Offense was pathetic. Always has been. Their QB Campbell is the worst at finding the quick-hitter at WR, which is something El shines at. And that Ben can hit. El's best two seasons were in Washington. And that was with average offensive personell. And getting El back once again opens up alot of trick play options we missed since he left. He also doesn't mention WR E.Sanders. Who easily was the best WR after the college season in workouts, and was easily the best at the East/west shrine game. Alot of scouts are calling him a much faster version of Greg Jennings. Those 4 out on the field along with Miller, and either Mendenhall or Dwyer is gonna give alot of D-Coordinators headaches. And as stated, on defense, you can't down play the Importance of Troy, as well as Aaron Smith returning healthy. Not to mention the obvious late season Improvemnt from both Ziggy Hood, and Rashon Harris. All our past D-Linemen needed a good season to totally learn, and feel comfortable in our defense. Now they will both be more ready to contribute. And don't forget my own " Sleeper " rookie this year, and that is Stevenson Sylvester from Utah. This kid was easily Utah's best player last year. A Heat-seeking Missle on the field. Him on our special teams will make it alot better. I think you guys are really going to be surprised by this kid. He very well may end up being our next ILB once Farrior retires. All in all, I see us with 11 wins at the least, and 1st in our division. W'ell see if I am right, or this guy is and we finish 2nd.

It's hard for him to comment on rookies. You can't exactly assume that because they were stars in college and have a lot of the physical skillset that they will succeed in the NFL (e.g. Jamarcus Russell). I thought it was a good read and that the majority of the points he made were well thought-out and accurate.

Yea, good reading, but thought he really spent too much time worried about a suspect line thats
been suspect for years and will be for a while longer. This is why Ben has his so called
'sandlot' plays,(maybe im old but never played football in a sandlot. lots of baseball though)
And yes ,Sanders will contribute, but arnz beating out EL? I dont think thats happing he'll
be no more than a speacial teamer. EL hasnt lost anything from what i saw last year.
But in the end i agree, tread water for 4 weeks and give'm HELL for the next 12!!!!
