Wide-body offensive tackle Marcus Johnson of Mississippi visited the Steelers' training facilities Friday and could be on the team's radar come draft time April 23-24.
he 6-foot-6, 321-pound Johnson would add depth at the guard and tackle positions on the right side of the Steelers line, particularly with the free-agent departures of Keydrick Vincent and Oliver Ross. Johnson would be a candidate to back up Max Starks, the heir apparent to Ross at right tackle, and Kendall Simmons, who is set to reclaim his starting role after sustaining a season-ending knee injury following the preseason opener last season. heres the rest |
