Hello from Illinois
New to the board but belong to a few Steeler message boards. this one looks pretty decent. Been a fan since the early 70's but have lived my whole life in Illinois. Have been to the Burgh twice for games---1 at TRS and 1 at Heinz. Record is 1-1 (the loss being vs. the Texans ughhhh). I have also been to numerous road games with the last one vs. Indy (MNFG) this year. The nation is strong in Illinois with numerous fans near me. I live in a small town of less than 3,000 and I can count 6-7 Steeler fans. In fact there are 2 Steeler flags flying proudly in town right now.
I'm glad some of you younger fans have now had a chance to experience a SB win. I can say this was pretty darn exciting (especially being able to watch it with my two boys). |
