Seeking out all Graphic Artits....Designers....etc....
I am at a loss for a logo for our shools first werbsite. I've been messing around with it for a while and just can't come up with something that looks descent but is not overbearring.
So I thought I'd pick the brains of the artists on this site (BB2W and others  ) and anyone else who wants to lend a hand.....  Here's a link to the site in it's present form. http://www.thecreativecenter-visalia...tpage&Itemid=1 Site is not live yet...but getting closer I want to keep the "Express Yourself Through:...." but would like to liven the logo up a bit. Also, I would like to fit the name of the school in there somewhere.... imagine that!!! That's where I would like the input of you artists here! I would love some input or if anyone is interested in designing a logo I would love to see it!!! TIA for input! tj

If you are speaking of the header, I would recommend using a different and larger font for the "Express yourself through" and a smaller font for the music, life, dance... etc. I would also put little icond next to each of them like...
art...  theatre...  life...  music...  dance...  Just some suggestions... you don't have to use those exact icons, and if you could get the icons to match it would look better, making them all black & white for example. They would probabally need to be smaller too. Do whatever you want I just thought I would add my two cents.

Thanks BB2W.....your 2 cents was part of the $$ I was hopeing to get!...
It is the "Header" that I speak of. It is in the Header that I would like to put our schools "Logo", and that "Logo" can be created anew.... Thanks for your input!

I'm not totally sure about what's going on with the site, but I see a section for visual arts...
Why not get the students involved? Make it a sort of team effort/contest or something like that. Can you offer some sort of incentive for the winner? I'm just thinking that they would know more about the spirit of the school than anybody, give them a sense of what it's like to meet deadlines, brainstorm for ideas, stuff like that.
