My alma mater takes on the evil, satanic Bobcats of Ohio U this afternoon at 4 EST on the Duce. Akron has a couple of LeBron's HS teammates in the line-up (Romeo Travis being the better of the two, a great rebounder and possible pro prospect). Go Zips!

Nice win Akron, and thanks to the Saluki's for wiping No. Iowa off the board at exactly 3:59 PM so I didn't miss any of the action.

I missed it... I forgot about it, I was gonna try to catch some of it. A part of me likes OU because so many of my friends went there, and because of all the wild Halloween parties I've been to.

No joke. I've played a bunch of sports my whole life, but one of the worst injuries I ever suffered was at an OU Halloween party. I drunkenly ran down a hill to greet a buddy I hadn't seen in a few years, busted up my knee, had some cartilage damage, and spent the rest of the weekend guarding the keg...I guarded that keg well!
