I say hang in there. Tampa is still in a rebuilding process and seems to have landed their future franchise quarterback for future reference.

Have patience and allow Morris to have a couple more drafts to build around him and also build the interior defensive fronts.

That's what's the problem with many GM's and owners today. They simply want to win NOW when they simply cannot and then become impatient with their head coach and fire him, setting the team back in stability worse than it was. You guys will be alright.

i think if mangini starts out like he did last year ( 1-7, 2-8) ... he'll be shit canned during the season. i think fox needs to be over .500 , and one of his qb's better show some serious potential and progress through out the season , or he could be toast.
i think 8-8 might buy raheem another year. owners wanna see progress and improvement. an 8-8 record and a much improved josh freeman should be enough to hang a hat on for another year.

Freeman's impressing me. Raheem, not so much.

I just want to see actual progress this season, the record be damned. IF they can show that - IMO he stays, if not, can him.

the record IS the progress owners look at. coaches are paid to put up W's .this is his ...what 3rd year ? i don't think its unreasonable to expect a .500 or better unit after 3 ....playoffs by 4 .

i think raheem needs to do more than just win. he needs to put asses in those seats.

cowher would be a great hire because despite a lack of talent on the field it will build a buzz and excitement that will have people coming out to the games.

And... do you think we're playoff bound?

Like I said on our board. I don't care about our record. We could be 10-6, squeak into a first round blowout and I'd not care. We're not a contender, yet.

If we end up with JUST two wins, I'm happy if the players and youth are progressing. Thus far, they've done well, better than expected by most assessments.

I'm stoked, but I'm also a realist. We played the Browns and the Panthers. We've not played a team like the Steelers, yet.

A garbage win is just that... a garbage win, especially if you won't go anywhere in the post season.
